Abstract
The National Youth Policy is a coordinated framework formulated to guide the development and implementation of interventions that will build an empowered youth for national development and their active participation in global affairs. The Policy vision is to empower the young generation and creating sustainable opportunities for development while, the overall goal of the Policy is to develop creative and innovative youth appropriately equipped with sense of responsibility, patriotism and national pride with advances technology relevant for national and global dynamics. The policy which spans from 2022 - 2032 is expected to be implemented by all stakeholders in the public and private sectors, state and non-state actors, organisations, and individuals. The Policy is drafted in 7 Chapters as follow: Introduction and Background (1); Policy Context (2); Policy Framework (3); Strategic Policy Actions (4); Policy Implementation Arrangements (5); Monitoring and Evaluation Arrangement (6); Communications Strategy (7).
