Abstract
This Act concerns the administration of towns and related matters. This Act shall apply to the towns, places and area specified in the First Schedule.
The Act provides for the acquisition of land for the construction of streets and the enclosure of town lands. The Act defines powers of authorities in matters of, among other things, slaughtering of animals, public health, prevention of fouling of drinking, sale of meat and other matters regarding food, nuisances, etc.
