Abstract
This Act amends the Trees and Timber Decree, 1974 with respect to export levies and other charges and powers to arrest offenders. A new Part (IIa) concerning the imposition and calculation of export levy on unprocessed and processed timber is inserted. Arrests pursuant to section 15 of the principal Act may now be carried out by forest Officers or a person authorized by the Minister.
