Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Masterplan of the Asutifi North District.

This WASH Master Plan of the Asutifi North District contains the broad vision, programmes and strategies of the District and its key development partners for the implementation of a 13-year initiative called the Asutifi North District Ahonidie Mpontuo (ANAM). This is an initiative which seeks to promote universal access to safe water, basic sanitation and hygiene services to the local people by the year 2030. The Master Plan is informed by guidelines of the National Development Planning Commission of Ghana, and framed within targets of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 6. The Plan contains an analysis of wash and IWRM issues, outlines projections, strategic actions and partnerships for implementation, and deals with issues such as monitoring, communication and evaluation.
