Abstract
Section 2 regulates the marketing of fish in a fish marketing zone. Fish marketing zones are areas indicated in section 1. Within fish marketing zones the Minister responsible for fisheries shall designate wholesale fish markets. Fish in a fish marketing zone may be offered for sale or sold only in a designated wholesale fish market. Exemptions from the above stated rule may be granted by the Minister and offences for the infringement of the rule are prescribed in section 2, comma 5. The Minister may further regulate the establishment and operation of wholesale markets, the registration of persons using such markets and the transfer of fish from one zone to another.
