The Gambia Women Enterprise Fund Act, no. 6 of 2020.

This Act, consisting of thirty-two sections and divided into eight parts, establishes the women enterprises fund, in order to: promote women enterprises; create self-employment for women; attract, strengthen and facilitate investment in micro, small and medium enterprises, and commercial infrastructures beneficial to women; enhance job creation. The Act concerns: establishment and composition of the governing Board of the fund, and definition of its powers and functions; management of the fund and appointment of fund manager; financial provisions and sources of funding; criteria for disbursement of funds; establishment of the management committees.
