Abstract
The Board shall be a body corporate (sect. 3). The Board shall generally organize and carry out research in the fields that may be determined by the Board and shall carry out all functions specified in section 4. The Board shall consist of Government officials and the Director-General of the National Agricultural Research Institute to be established by the Board by Regulations pursuant to section 7 of the Act. There shall be a Research Committee of the Board which shall review the research and training programmes of the Institute before implementation. Various other committees are also established.
