The Pesticides (Registration) Regulations, 1994

These Regulations, made under the provisions of the Hazardous Chemicals Pesticides Control and Management Act, 1993, concern registration of pesticides and related matters. The Regulations focus on: application for the registration of a pesticide; labels and their content, including: registration or provisional clearance number, storage stability and methods for safe storage, warning or caution statements, directions for the disposal of the container; registration procedures; decision to restrict the use and handling of a pesticide; manufacturing, importing and using unregistered pesticides; toxicological information.
