Review of the species and seasons for legal hunting under Schedule III, section 68 of the Wildlife Conservation Act, 1977.

This Notice establishes the dates for the beginning and the end of the legal shooting season for various species of game birds and fixes bag limits per day and the total bags in each season for each of such species. Species not present in the list appear to be declining in population and are locally rare or absent. These species are removed from the Schedule until adequate assessment is made of their status and distribution.
