The two accused have been caught in flagrante and charged of illegal detention and commercialization of fully protected animal species and complicity. The alleged traffickers were arrested and transported for investigation. The accused acknowledged the facts. They were both sentenced.

They appealed but the Court declared the appeal inadmissible in the audience of the 4/01/2016 (Arrêt n°081 du 28/12/2015, Court of Appeal, Conakry).
