Abstract
This Treaty establishes the maritime boundary between the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe using equidistance as the general criterion for delimitation. It affirms that neither State will claim or exercise sovereign rights or have jurisdiction over the waters, seabed and subsoil or airspace on the side of the maritime boundary belonging to the other Party as established under article 2 of this Treaty.
