Abstract
The two parties have agreed to make every effort to develop cooperation in all fields deemed to be in their mutual interest and benefit. The cooperation shall extend, among others, in the sector of agriculture (including agro-industry) and shall be aimed at strengthening and encouraging cooperation between economic operators, with a view to promote investment, joint ventures, licensing agreements and other forms of cooperation between them.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement shall enter into force thirty (30) days after the date on which the contracting parties have exchanged written notifications informing each other that the procedures, required by their respective laws to this end, have been completed. It shall remain into force for a period of five (5) years.

On behalf of the Greek government the Agreement was ratified with Law No. 2914 of May 22, 2001.
