Abstract
The two parties have agreed to make every effort to develop cooperation in all fields deemed to be in their mutual interest and benefit. The cooperation shall extend, among others, in the sector of agriculture (including agro-industry) and in the field of environmental protection and information, within the overall objective of sustainable development.

Entry into force notes
The Agreement shall enter into force thirty (30) days after the date on which the contracting parties have exchanged written notifications informing each other that the procedures, required by their respective laws to this end, have been completed. It shall remain into force for a period of five (5) years.

On behalf of the Greek government the Agreement was ratified with Law No. 2976 of December 27, 2001.
