Agreement between the Government of the Hellenic Republic and the Government of the State of Kuwait on economic and technical cooperation.

The two Parties, desiring to promote and further strengthen their bilateral economic and technical cooperation, have agreed to take appropriate measures to promote further development of economic and technical cooperation. The fields of cooperation mentioned in this Agreement, include in particular, but are not limited to, the encouragement of the following sectors: a) establishing projects between the two countries, indicatively, in the fields of agriculture, food security, environment, energy and others; b) developing technical projects and exchanging information relating to technical research; c) exchanging and training specialists required for specific cooperation programmes. With a view to ensuring effective implementation of this Agreement, a Joint Inter-Ministerial Committee shall be established composed of representatives from both Contracting Parties. Upon its entry into force, the present Agreement shall replace the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the States of Kuwait and the Hellenic Republic, signed in Kuwait on January 31, 1977.
