Decision No. 2848/145689 defining the framework for the implementation of Measure 11 "Organic Farming" of the Rural Development Programme (RDA) 2014-2020.

The purpose of this Decision, consisting of 21 articles and three Annexes, is to establish the institutional framework for the implementation, management and monitoring of Measure 11 on "Organic Farming" of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme (RDP). Financial support under the Measure is provided for beneficiaries to be compensated for loss and income foregone, additional costs and transaction costs that, as the case may be, involve the conversion or maintenance of organic farming practices, in accordance with the principles and methods of organic farming as defined in Council Regulation (EC) 834/2007. The competent authority of this measure is the Special Management Service of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (ESA RDP), which also has the responsibility for the overall management and implementation of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, as provided for in Law No. 4314/2014. The Management Intermediate Body of the Measure is defined as the Directorate of Organic Production and Geographical Indication Systems of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with the administrative assistance of the Organization of Control of Community Aid for Guidance and Guarantee (OPEKEPE).
