Joint Ministerial Decision No. 5688/2018 amending Annexes of Law No. 4014/2011 (A 209), in accordance with Directive 2014/52/EU amending Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of impact of certain public and private projects on the environment of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014.

This Joint Ministerial Decision amends Annexes of Law No. 4014/2011 (A΄ 209), in accordance with Article 36a thereof, which was added in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 26 of Law No. 4519/2018 and Article 15 (1) and Article 3 of Directive 2014/52/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 amending Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects of works on the environment in order to improve the quality of the assessment, in the process of environmental financing of projects and activities. The characteristics of the projects should be examined in particular as follows: a) size and design of the whole project; b) cumulative action with other existing and/or approved projects; c) use of natural resources, in particular soil, land, water and biodiversity; d) waste generation; e) pollution and noise; f) risk of serious project-related accidents and/or disasters, including the risks posed by climate change; g) risks to human health (water or air pollution).
