Law no. 5012 of 2023. Ratification of the Agreement on the Conservation of African and Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA).

This Law, consisting of 4 articles, provides for the ratification of the Agreement on the conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA), as amended during the eighth Meeting of the Parties to the Agreement on September 26-30, 2022 in Budapest, concluded in accordance with article IV of the 1979 International Convention of the Organisation of United Nations for the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals. The Text of the Agreement, in the original English version and in its Greek translation is attached to this Law. The Law empowers the Ministry of Environment and Energy for implementing the provisions of this Agreement and for preparing a National Action Plan related to the content of the Agreement.
