Abstract
Cooperation in the energy sector, in the fields of natural gas and oil is a priority for both Parties. The subject of this Memorandum is to establish a framework for the basis of joint cooperation between the Parties in the field of supply and transit of natural gas, as well as in the field of research, extraction and exploitation of oil and exchange of know-how in these fields.

Entry into force notes
The present Memorandum shall enter into force on the date of the last written notification by which the Parties inform each other through diplomatic channels of the completion of the necessary legal procedures.
Notes
On behalf of the Greek Government, the Memorandum has been ratified by Law No. 3638 of February 6, 2008.
