Ministerial Decision no. 1058/71977 of 2017. Definition of the Specifications and Content of Grazing Management Plans, in the context of implementing the provisions of Law 4351/2015.

This Ministerial Decision provides for defining the specifications and content of the grazing management Plan, drafted pursuant to article 11, paragraph 2 of Law 4351/2015, through the management studies of grazing lands, and their sustainable utilisation, in order to improve the sustainable development of animal husbandry and the protection of the natural environment. The Decision concerns: expenditure for the preparation of the grazing management Plan; the right to use public grazing lands; the management and treatment of geospatial data and information concerning grazing lands; special measures for grazing lands included in forest ecosystems; protection regime for protected areas; protection of the environment and measures to reduce environmental pollution; mapping of grazing lands and agricultural lands, and evaluation of the current grazing capacity; development and improvement of land, through irrigation projects, fertilisation, and control of weeds and other undesirable species for grazing; proposed number and type of animal, season and duration of grazing.
