Ministerial Decision no. 1106/70387 of 2019. Supplementary measures for the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1182, Implementing Regulations (EU) 2017/1184 and (EU) 2017 /1185 of the Commission and of Commission Decision No. 2010/642/EU, regarding the classification of bovine and porcine carcasses and the reporting of market prices for certain categories of carcasses and live animals.

This Ministerial Decision provides for defining the necessary additional measures for implementing some European Regulations on: the classification of cattle, pig and sheep carcasses, their presentation, marking and weighing, the duties of slaughterhouses, and the market prices for certain categories of carcasses and live animals. This Decision applies to: the representative markets of cattle, pig and sheep carcasses, to the agricultural chambers and cooperatives involved in recording the purchase prices of live animals and carcasses of cattle, pig and sheep; slaughterhouses for cattle, pigs and sheep, with exceptions. The Decision concerns: classification, weighing, presentation and marking of carcasses; notification to the animal suppliers about the classification of carcasses; purchase prices of both carcasses and live animals and notification; controls and inspections; extraordinary inspection by the competent authority; administrative compliance measures and sanctions; imposition of fines.
