Ministerial Decision No. 125188/246 of 2013. Trade in species of wild fauna and native flora.

This Ministerial Decision, implementing European Legislation on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora, provides for measures regulating trade in species of wild flora and wild fauna, threatened with extinction. The Decision concerns: species to whom the provisions of the Decision apply: species of wild fauna and flora, as each time specified in the lists of the annexes to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES Convention) and the relevant European Regulations; establishing procedures for the coordination and control of research on the protected species; measures concerning export, import, re-export, re-import, transit, sale, purchase, advertising, leasing, commercial exploitation, bartering and in general the possession, disposal, keeping, exhibition, transport, dispatch and movement of species of wild fauna and wild flora; authorities empowered to implement and enforce CITES Convention provisions and European Regulations; issuance of relating permits and authorisations.
