Ministerial Decision no. 1824/332840 of 2021. Supplementary measures for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 (L 084 and corrigendum L 057/2017, L 137/2017 and L 048/2021), regarding the creation of a national electronic register of commercial poultry holdings.

This Ministerial Decision, implementing provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on transmissible animal diseases and amending and repealing certain acts in the field of animal health, concerns the creation of a National electronic register of commercial poultry holdings, within the Integrated Information System of Veterinary Medicine. The Decision establishes the competent authorities for the maintenance and operation of the electronic Register, for the drafting and updating of its technical specifications and the control of its proper operation, and for the maintenance of the historical records. The Decision defines: registration procedures and content of the electronic register, including information on health status of the poultry, on the animal production of the holding, and on veterinary checks; administrative and criminal sanctions in case of inaccurate or misleading information provided by the owner of the commercial poultry holding.
