Abstract
This Ministerial Decision establishes the Standard Environmental Commitments (SEC) provided for in article 8 of law 4014/2011 for projects of the type "Individual Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations (Batteries)", in order to protect the natural environment and the public health, by specifying all necessary measures and restrictions that must be applied during the construction, operation and decommissioning of the projects. Matters covered by this Decision include: procedure for subscribing a standard environmental commitment; electricity projects based on renewable energy sources; supporting documentation, including land maps, boundaries of protected areas, cartographic representation of the project, forested and reforested areas.
