Abstract
This Decree brings forth amendments to article 11a of the Food Code as regards the definition of fibres in foodstuffs. Also, Annex I to this article is replaced by the text in Annex I to this Decree, listing down vitamins and minerals which may be declared and their recommended daily allowances (RDAs). Also the text in Annex II to this Decree is added to article 11 of the Food Code. This Annex provides the definition of the material constituting fibre and methods of analysis as referred to in the article (paragraph 4, point i).

Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette. Its provisions shall apply in such a way as to prohibit, with effect from 31 October 2012, the trade in products which do not comply with this Decree.
