Ministerial Decree No. 367/2005 amending article 24 of the Food Code relating to materials and articles made of regenerated cellulose film intended to come into contact with foodstuffs in compliance with Commission Directive 2004/14/EC of 29 January 2004.

The provisions of the present Decree set forth specifications for cellulose films intended to come into contact with foodstuffs and establishes a list of authorised substances together with restrictions on their use. The Decree covers regenerated cellulose films uncoated or coated with coatings manufactured only with substances listed in Table I and II. The manufacture and importation of regenerated cellulose film which is intended to come into contact with foodstuffs and which does not comply with the provisions of this Directive shall be prohibited as from 29 January 2006.
