Abstract
A Decree prescribing restrictive provisions related to the use of pesticides containing "MCPA"; it prescribes the mandatory information to be carried on the label of such products: on the label of pesticides containing "MCPA" must appear: the toxicological classification; hazard symbols, using the appropriate graphic symbol (St. Andrew's cross) that warn of danger, together with clear and concise indications as to the degree and kind of such danger; safety precautions, including standard statements designed to inform the user clearly how to handle the product with a minimum of hazard (e.g. protective clothes to be worn, what to do in case of contamination, etc.); first-aid instructions and antidotal measures indicating the measures to be taken in case of poisoning; information concerning the protection of the environment from harmful effects. The quality of such products must comply with technical specifications recommended by FAO (in particular, "AQUEOUS DISPERSIONS", must comply with the Fao Specification Code 2.1/SL/S/-/83; "SALTS", must comply with Fao Specification Code 2.1/TC/S/-/83).
