Abstract
A Decree prescribing restrictive provisions related to the use of pesticides containing the active substance DINOCAR; It prescribes the mandatory information to be carried on the label of such products. Such labels, as from 1.08.1988, may be simply attached on the package but as from 1.01.1989 the compulsory information stated on the label must be obligatorily printed to its immediate container. On such labels must appear: toxicological classification; hazard symbols, using the appropriate graphic symbol (St. Andrew's cross) that warn of danger, together with clear and concise indications as to the degree and kind of such danger; safety precautions, including standard statements designed to inform the user clearly how to handle the product with a minimum of hazard (e.g. protective clothes to be worn, what to do in case of contamination, etc.); information on the special ways of making applications of such products; first-aid instructions and antidotal measures indicating the measures to be taken in case of poisoning; information regarding the protection of the environment from harmful effects (DINOCAR is noxious for fish).
