Ministerial Decree No. 89745 amending Chapter B and C of Ministerial Decision No. 85418.

The present Decree amends para. 2 of chap. C regarding experimentation with agricultural products containing chemical substances which are not yet approved. Farmers may privately carry out experiments provided that they obtain a special permit to operate issued by the competent authorities; the performance of such experiments devolves upon their responsibility; a plant expert is involved in the project; they obtain the means to conduct such projects. Experiments may be carried out either in privately owned or leased land property; In case of leased land property the time of lease must exceed the period of one (1) year and the contract of lease must be attached to the application form submitted to the competent authorities. With this Decree, are also extensively set forth amendments regarding the supervision of such projects and prescriptions regarding residue limits after the lap of such experiments.
