Ministerial Decree No. OIK. 3277/209 establishing general principles and competent authorities for the assessment and management of ambient air quality.

This Decree, in compliance with articles 1, 2 and 3 of Council Directive 96/62/EC on ambient air quality assessment and management, aims at establishing the basic principles of a common strategy in order to define objectives for ambient air quality and to establish the competent authorities for the implementation of this strategy. The Decree is composed as follows: objective (art. 1); basic principles (art. 2); establishment of competent authorities (art. 4); list of atmospheric pollutants to be taken into consideration in the assessment and management of ambient air quality (art. 5).
