Ministerial Joint Decree No. 861/85 approving the Decision by the Supreme Council of Chemistry regarding integrations of articles 147 and 40 of the Food Code.

Type of law

With this Decree, paragraph 17, article 127 of the Food Code is replaced by article 147. Article 147 is also integrated by adding a new section (b) in paragraph 1 which provides for the definition of "saccharined fruit juices for beverages". Article 40 of the Food Code is integrated by adding paragraph 4: lemon juices for food preparation: producing and placing on the market lemon juices in which certain food additives are added, is allowed; such additives are E 200, E 201, E 202, E 203, E 210, E 211, E 212, E 213 and cannot exceed 1 percent of the total percentage of the product.
