Presidential Decree no. 24/2022 concerning Regulatory measures for the fishing of the shrimp species Plesionika Narval.

This Presidential Decree, taking into account provisions of the Decree no. 420/1970, and of the Regulation (EU) 1380/2013 on the Common Fisheries Policy, provides for the establishment of regulatory measures concerning the fishing of the shrimp species of Plesionika narval. The Decree concerns: the granting of fishing licenses to professional fishing vessels; the determination of the permitted fishing gear and their marking; the determination of the permitted fishing periods and areas; the registration of the quantities caught and the imposition of sanctions in case of violations. The provisions of this Decree apply to the whole territory of the Republic to all the fishing vessels active in the fishing of the shrimp species. Article 2 of the Decree concerns details and conditions for issuing and granting a shrimp fishing licence. Article 3 specifies the permitted fishing gears and the methods. Article 4 defines the fishing season period and the permitted fishing area. Article 5 concerns the registration of the quantity of shrimp species caught, and the eventual incidental species, in the electronic fishing logbook (ERS). Article 6 concerns penalties.
