Abstract
The present Decree sets forth the principles governing the organization of official inspections in the field of animal nutrition, in compliance with Council Directive 95/53/EC. It shall apply without prejudice to customs rules and veterinary rules. The provisions of the Decree establish all the necessary measures to ensure that inspections are taken at regular intervals on imports from third countries and within the European Community. The Decree consists of 23 articles arranged in four chapters, as follows: chapter I, Introductory provisions (articles 1-4); chapter II, Imports from third countries (articles 5-9); chapter III, trade within the European Community (articles 10-16); chapter IV, General provisions (articles 17-23).
