Abstract
Aim of the present Decree is to adopt the Greek legislative framework to the provisions of Commission Directive 97/58/EC which amends Directive 94/57/EC. Under this light, with the present Decree, in the Annex to article 13 of Presidential Decree No. 32/1997, the following paragraph 7 is added to Section A. General: "7. The organization should operate in accordance with the provisions set out in the Annex to IMO Resolution A.789(19) on specifications on the survey and certification functions of recognized organizations acting on behalf of the administration, in so far as they cover matters falling within the scope of this Decree.".
