Abstract
This Order prohibits, during the month of October for every year, fishing within the marine area of Kalimnos and Kos islands with dragnets and trawl nets gears. It also prohibits, during the months of April and May yearly, fishing with round nets (so-called "day gri-gri") as well as with any other type of fishing gear for the period starting the 15th of April until the 30th of May annually. Closed season for shrimp fishing is set in article 1. More specifically, shrimp fishing in this marine area is permitted for the period between April 1st and May 31st annually. Mesh size for nets is also set in the text. Recreational and/or amateurish fishing activity is permitted only during the weekends with fish hooks; the total weight of the catch should not exceed five kilos per vessel.
