Protocol of the first session of the Joint economic and technological Commission between the Hellenic republic and the Slovak republic.

The first session of the Joint Committee was held according to the provisions (article 5) of the Agreement between the government of the Hellenic Republic and the government of the Slovak Republic on economic and technological cooperation, singed in Athens on October 16, 1997. Considering the great importance attached to the further development of the economic and technical cooperation between the two countries, both sides reviewed and assessed the possibilities for cooperation in the sectors of industry for the production of agricultural machinery, irrigation systems and food processing. In particular, the two sides have agreed on the exchange of experience, know-how and new technologies in the agricultural sector, personnel training and exchange of experts and consultants, organising seminars of mutual interest.
