Protocol of the First Session of the Joint Economic and Technological Committee between the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Latvia (Athens, 29 March 2001) (MJD No. F.0544/4/ΑS 490/Μ. 5261).

The First Session of the Joint Economic and Technological Committee between the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Latvia was held in Athens, on March 29th, 2001, according to the provisions of the Agreement between the Government of the Hellenic Republic and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on Economic and Technological Cooperation. Among other fields of mutual interest, both Parties agreed on cooperation in the agricultural sector, more specifically, on the exchange of experience, know-how and new technologies in the agricultural sector, personnel training and exchange of specialists and consultants and on organizing seminars of mutual interests. Both sides assessed that there are considerable possibilities for future cooperation in various sectors, amongst them, the food industry.
