Council Decision (EU) 2025/961 on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the Protocol on the implementation of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau (2024–2029).

This Decision approves the Protocol on the implementation of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau for the period of 2024–2029. The Protocol aims to grant Union vessels access to fish in Guinea-Bissau’s waters and to strengthen collaboration between the Union and Guinea-Bissau in advancing a sustainable fisheries policy and ensuring responsible use of marine resources within Guinea-Bissau’s fishing zone. This partnership also supports the improvement of working conditions in the fisheries industry.
