Abstract
This Decree-Law approves the structure of the Government. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned National Government, as the supreme executive and administrative body of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The Government is responsible for conducting the country's general policy in accordance with its programme, approved by the National Popular Assembly, comprising the prime minister, who heads it, by the Deputy Prime Minister, by the Ministers and Secretaries of State, including the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defense and Homeland Freedom Fighters, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Local Government, Ministry of Fisheries; the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of National Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour, Employment and Social Security, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women, Family and Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Urbanism and the Ministry of Environment and Biodiversity.
