Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes phytosanitary measures to be applied for plant protection in order to avoid harmful organisms spreading within the Country. It consists of 9 chapters and 1 table specifying the requirements to be satisfied in order to control and regulate all the aspects relevant to plant production and trade (including import/export). It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. 1); Plant quarantine organization (2); Harmful organisms to be combated (3); Phytosanitary inspection (4); Imports (5); Exports (6); Trading requirements, including fees (7-9). The table lists the fees to be paid according to the different plant species.
