Decree No. 13/2000 instituting the National Park Lagoas de Cufada.

This Decree, composed of 16 articles and 1 Annex, institutes the National Park “Lagoas de Cufada”, with the aim of protecting the natural resources, the ecosystem local communities’ cultural traditions. The decree defines the borders of the protected area and rules on the zoning system established for the Park. Moreover, it regulates the admitted and forbidden activities. Finally, the Decree rules on the Park’s administration procedures and entitled bodies. The Annexes provide maps of the protected area.
