Abstract
This Joint Decision regulates the conditions of access to fishery resources in the exclusive economic zone under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, by national and foreign vessels operating within the framework of national companies. National companies wishing to obtain a fishing licence for the above mentioned vessels must meet the following requirements, namely: a) Be legally constituted; b) Submit a certificate of public deed under the terms of the law; c) Have effective headquarters in the national territory, in which it must indicate industrial fishing services, its address, administrative staff, declaration of registration with the INSS; d) Have registration with the Directorate-General for Contributions and Taxes and have the discharge certificate issued by this structure; e) Submit the original of the seaworthiness and the international gross tonnage certificate and ship and crew policies; f) Show duly endorsed documents; g) All the contracts of the sea workers who will be working on board the vessel for which licensing is requested. Access to fisheries resources is conditional on obtaining an authorization issued by the competent authorities, the fees for which are set out in Annexes I, II and IV, depending on the applicant's request.
