Abstract
This Act provides for the approval of lenders and crops by the Minister for purposes of this Act and the granting of loans to farmers. The sections in this Act include: Approved lenders (sect. 3); Approved crop (sect. 4); Loan book (sect. 5); Creation of liens (sect. 11); Right of lender to inspect land (sect. 13); Penalty for disposal of crops contrary to contract (sect. 14); Entry by lender if farmer is not keeping up cultivation (sect. 15); Record of repayment of loans (sect. 16); Transfer of certificates of loans (sect. 17); Power of Registrar to make rules (sect. 20).
