Abstract
These By-Laws lay down procedures and principles and prohibited actions for the city markets. The Stabroek Market, the Bourda Market, the Albuoystown Market and such other markets shall be under the control and supervision of the Clerk of Markets appointed by the Council. Selling fresh meat in the markets shall be subject to the permission of the Meat and Food Inspector or the Clerk of Markets after approved and marked by the Meat and Food Inspector as fit for human consumption. Moreover, the Meat and Food Inspector or the Clerk of Markets may at any time inspect and examine the markets, sellers or equipment in contact with any fresh meat, game, fish, fruit, vegetables or other articles intended for human consumption.
