Abstract
These By-laws lay down rules for cleansing of every tank used within the City of Georgetown for domestic purposes at least once in every five years by the owner of the building to which the tank belongs. Water tanks may be inspected at any time by the sanitary inspector, and in case it is noticed that the tank is polluted the sanitary inspector shall issue a notice to the owner of the building for emptying the water and cleansing that tank. After cleansing in compliance with these by-laws, the sanitary inspector for the district shall cause a mark on the tank.
