Abstract
This Act establishes the East Demerara Water Conservancy and provides for the management of the East Demerara Water Conservancy. The sections of this Act are divided into 10 Parts: Establishment of the East Demerara Water Conservancy and the Board of Commissioners (Part I); Management of the Conservancy (Part II); Execution of Works by the Board (Part III); Borrowing Powers (Part IV); Financial (Part V); Acquisition of Land by the Board (Part VI); Provisions Relating to Proprietors (Part VII); Powers of the Minister (Part VIII); Legal (Part IX); Miscellaneous (Part X).
