Environmental Guidelines for Storage, Transportation and Occupational Handing of Biomedical Waste.

The overall purpose of these Guidelines is to protect human health and the environment against biological hazards. To this end, these Guidelines lay down general information on the proper storage, transportation and handling of biomedical waste and on various treatment methods that are applicable to Guyana. Moreover, these Guidelines shall apply to any person who operates a business or facility that generates, stores or transports biomedical waste.
