Licensing of the domestic wildlife trade.

The purpose of this document is to collect accurate data about wildlife in Guyana to manage wildlife effectively and prevent over-exploitation or illegal trade. This document lays down: (i) license schedule; (ii) local wildlife trade requirements; (iii) general terms and conditions of licenses; (iv) the terms and conditions for holders of wildlife trapping and collecting licenses, for holders of wildlife commercial licenses, for vendors of raw or cooked wild meat, for sellers of live animals, for holders of wildlife recreational licenses, for holders of captive wildlife licenses, for holders of special wildlife licenses; (v) open and closed seasons; (vi) royalty schedule; (vii) transport permit; and (ix) checkpoints in each administrative region.
