Abstract
These By-laws lay down provisions on the appointment and functions of Bridge Master; lifting of section of main span of bridge for vessels; prohibitions for carrying explosive or dangerous matters; terms and conditions for the users; collection of tolls for the use of the bridge; and offences and penalties. By-law 10 underlines that any person shall take or permit an animal to be upon the bridge unless it is drawing a vehicle in respect of which special permission has been given or is carried in a vehicle or by the person.
