National Agricultural Research Institute Act (Cap. 68:02).

This Act provides for the establishment of the National Agricultural Research Institute of Guyana, a National Agricultural Research Committee and an Advisory Council. The Committee established under section 3 as a body corporate shall advise the Minister on agricultural research and supervise the National Agricultural Research Institute established under section 12. The Institute shall promote systems for agricultural development and facilitate the use of improved production technology in agricultural production. The Agricultural Research Advisory Council established under section 22 shall advise the Minister and the Committee of agricultural research.
