Abstract
The Guyana Wildlife and Conservation Commission lays down licensing and permit procedures for domestic and international trade and non-commercial usage, such as research. A Commercial Export License or Commercial Import License shall be obtained to engage in the international trade in wildlife from Guyana in accordance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. Furthermore, a Holding Premises License may only be obtained by the holder of a Commercial Export License after the premise at issue being inspected and approved for the holding of wildlife for the purpose of trade by veterinary personnel.
